Emlékszem a korábbi GoaGileken a "NEM IVÓVÍZ" feliratú csapra, az italok elkobozására a bejáratnál, meg a sokszázforintos félliteres ásványvízre - nem hiába voltunk ott KékPont PartyService-szel ivóvizet osztogatni.
Az ilyen partyszervezök naná, hogy most kiesnek a bizniszböl. De majd jönnek helyettük újabbak és frissebbek kielégíteni az óriási partykeresletet. |

We really hope, that it's just a momentary situation for this year, (deterrence - to show people that authorities do everything right) and they won't have the capacitiy for doing this in the latter future. However, we feel this too risky at the moment for all of us; the organization and the party people as well. Since they came out with the new law, hungary's goa party calendar is empty for the summer, everybody cancelling the parties, except the Ozora Festival, which is anyways so big and they attending good relationship with the local authorities for many years.
We will see what's gonna happen at other, different kind of outdoor events during the summer, so for next year we will know more; how things going in practice, how we can actually get ready for all this. We really hope that from next year we can continue.
As we are doing these parties continually for many years, it was a very difficult decision for us. But after taking some time with asking around for other people's opinions too (lawyer, functionaries, friends) we were thinking it over and over, and we believe that it is the most brainy thing we can do now.
That is the story !!!

The party in Germany in June is also very good

Due to unfortunate circumstances in Hungary,
and a crackdown on these kinds of events
by the new government there,
the organizers have had to cancel the party !!!
Here is an excerpt from the email
that I received recently from the organizers:
Back in January 3 very young girls died at a techno club party, they had been trampled into death, casue there were much much more people inside than the club's capacity was.
As you can imagine it was a big scandal, and the public opinion didn't only blame the organizers and the owners of the club, but the authorities as well, for not checking these clubs more seriously, and not to notice 3000 kids in the middle of the city infront a club which had permission for 300 people. Therefore the police and all possible kind of authorities started to checking the clubs, they closed many of them, and some places also are not even dance clubs, only bars with few tables,etc.etc. They carring things too far, to calm people down, so they closing some places for really meaningless reasons too. A few days ago the government came out with a new law for "music-dance" events, and the serious aggravation is not only for the indoor, but for the open-air events too. We really didin't expect on this, as the tragedy happened obviously because there were too many people at an indoor place. Before this law they didn't even mention the out-door events, all news were about clubs, and indoor security. I must say that technically and financially it's not possible to observe this law for smaller underground event's like ours, but still our party is not small enough to keep it hidden. We know it from the past, that almost on every party of ours at one point police came to check, but according to the old law they found everything ok, and they left. If they would come now, they would ask for 6 different kind of authorities's official permissions, (for these we can apply 2 months before the party, and they have 1 month to come to check the place, the circumstances and decide if they give a permission,it really can be possible that they don't.), we have to have official ambulance service at the party, atleast one of us must would have graduation of event-organizer qualifacition, big number of security guys from an officially registered security company, (it's not enoght if the person itself have graduation, companies are very expensive), when we apply for permissions we have to notify how the music will going, if there will be DJs or live music. (i don't actually know what they would like to do with this information), 3 days before the festival we have to present an official weather report of the location, in case it shows storm during the party they can cancel the event, etc.etc. Some of these authorities are brand new, we have no clue how they work, and act, and beyond all that, the schelude that they dictate seems impossible to follow. Even if we could manage all this somehow, these are so much extra costs that we really can not afford in sight of last few years parties. Government (which is a very conservative one now) says, that they will do serious checkings on these events, so If we ask for these permissions and in case we'll get them, than it's sure that they will come with police and other authorities to check the party. Not only the circumstances, but the workers, and the party people as well since it's an electronical music event, so as the tragedic one was.... you know the rest. If we won't meet any of the requirements they close the party immediately, and there will be legal consequences both for us and the owner of the place. If we would try to stay hidden, and they'd find us, than it's even worst as you can imagine.

Zsaru:(hisztizik) De hát minket ide küldtek,( itt kérdezték a nevem ez stimmelt, meg a többi adat is)
Én: És akkor most sírjak? Viszlát!
Azóta sem találkoztam ezekkel :D
